This temple is also considered special because it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Being close to the source of the river Godavari, the natural beauty of this place is a sight to behold during the monsoons. The temple is surrounded by lush green hills and Anjaneri Mountain.
Babulnath Temple, Mumbai
Babulnath Temple is situated on a small hillock in Mumbai and is considered to be one of the oldest temples in Mumbai. Although this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, here apart from Lord Shiva, you can also see the idols of Ganeshji, Hanumanji and Goddess Parvati. All these idols were enshrined in the temple during the 12th century. However, the present building of the temple was constructed in the late 18th century. Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, Pune
Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva in the Ghat region of the Sahyadri hills.
