The 16th installment was released on 28 February 2024. Where Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself sent installment money to the bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers through DBT. At the same time, during this period, many farmers were deprived of the installment because due to some of their mistakes, they did not get the benefit of the installment.
These are the reasons for the installment being stuck:-
Not getting e-KYC done
Among the farmers whose installments are stuck, there may also be those who did not get the e-KYC done. Whereas, under the rules, it was mandatory to get this work done to get the installment. In such a situation, you check whether you have got e-KYC done. If not, your installment will be stuck.
Not getting land verification done
Even those farmers who did not get the land verification done have not been able to get the benefit of the 16th installment. It was necessary to get this work done and the installments of those farmers who could not get it done got stuck.
These are also some reasons
Farmers whose bank account information was incorrect, such as bank account number, name of account holder, etc. So their installment may also get stuck
At the same time, those farmers who have mistakes like name, address, Aadhaar number, etc. in their application form were also deprived of benefits.
