Jawaharlal Nehru University has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. A total of 76 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Applications are ongoing and the last date to apply is 8 April 2024. There will be recruitment of 36 posts of Professor, 33 posts of Associate Professor and 7 posts of Assistant Professor.
The eligibility criteria to apply vary according to the post. You can see its details on the website. Candidates who have done Masters in a broadly related subject or have a PhD degree and have 8 to 10 years of experience can apply.
To apply, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2000. SC, ST, PH and women candidates do not have to pay fees.
If selected, the salary for the post of Professor ranges from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 per month. The salary for the post of Associate Professor ranges from Rs 1,31,400 to Rs 2,17,100. The salary of Assistant Professor ranges from Rs 57,700 to Rs 1,82,400.
