What was the connection between influenza and heart attack?
To see the connection between flu and heart attack, people hospitalized due to heart attack were included. The researchers looked at the lab testing data. Data on more than 26,000 confirmed cases of influenza was obtained from laboratories between 2008-2019. Research revealed that 401 of these people had at least one heart attack within a year of recovering from the flu. While 25 heart attack cases came within seven days of flu recovery.
Many patients died in a year
