Google has introduced a digital wallet for Android customers in India. In this, customers will get the facility to keep loyalty and gift cards, public vehicle passes, and other things. It can be downloaded from the Play Store. Google said the digital wallet service started in India on Wednesday. For this new service, Google has partnered with 20 Indian brands like Air India, Indigo, Flipkart, Kochi Metro, PVR, and Inox. More partnerships are planned going forward.
Google Wallet will give users the option to store movie/concert tickets, boarding passes, metro tickets, office/corporate badges, and digitize physical documents. This service is currently being provided in about 80 countries.
