HSB i.e. Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business has launched MBA program in Product Management. Regarding admission to this course, the director has said that the institute will accept GMAT, GRE, XAT scores along with CAT for admission to the MBA programme. Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business (HSB) has announced a new MBA program for students making a career in the field of management. Interested candidates who are going to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) can apply here with their CAT scores. Apart from CAT, the institute will also accept scores of Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).
HSB Director Sujit Kumar has said that HSB will also conduct its own entrance examination to admit students into the MBA programme. He said that candidates with at least two years of work experience will be given preference. Apart from this, candidates must have at least 60 percent marks in all academic examinations up to graduation level.
Know about the new course
The application fee for MBA program will be Rs 24.5 lakh. However, HSB will also provide scholarships for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students. Director Sujit Kumar has said that educational qualification, ability, means etc. have been made the basis of scholarship policy. EWS students can qualify for any of these scholarship categories.
Director Sujit Kumar has said that the faculty members will be from renowned business schools in India and abroad. Apart from them, renowned industry leaders like McKinsey and Infosys will also participate in it. Director Sujit Kumar also said that the selection process will include evaluation of SOP and personal interview. The MBA program will start from June 2024 from JK Lakshmipat University campus, Jaipur.
Placement and internship opportunities
The institute also assures students of placement opportunities after completion of the 2-year MBA program. The Director said that HSB guarantees internships and long-term live projects which can lead to full-time work in the form of Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for students. He said that HSB will provide placement assistance to all students. Candidates will get an internship opportunity of 2 months from Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Max and other reputed companies.
Who can apply?
According to the information, this MBA program of HSB is also open for foreign students. But these students will also be required to complete CAT, GMAT score to apply for MBA Product Management course.
JKLU President RP Singhania said that HSB is designed to propel young professionals into the future and provide them a platform for skill development.
