1. Ghee in hot milk

Drinking ghee mixed with hot milk or hot water is a very old and effective remedy. This mixture can speed up the process of bowel movement within a few minutes. Just mix one spoon of ghee in lukewarm water or hot milk and drink it.

2. Cumin and Ajwain
Cumin and carom seeds have long been known to be beneficial for stomach problems. Apart from easing bowel movements, it also provides relief from problems like acidity, vomiting, abdominal pain, and cramps. To make this recipe, roast and grind two spoons of cumin and two spoons of celery. Add half a teaspoon of black salt to it and take it with a small amount of warm water.

3. Soaked Raisins
Raisins are a great remedy to get instant relief from constipation. Soak 8 to 10 dry grapes in water in the morning and remove their seeds. Drink soaked raisins with warm milk. According to Ayurveda, consuming raisins provides instant relief from stomach problems and also removes fatigue and weakness.

4. Massage
Another Ayurvedic remedy to get relief from constipation is a hot oil massage. Mix carom seeds in lukewarm oil and massage them on the lower abdomen. This massage provides instant relief from abdominal pain, constipation, and acidity problems.

5. Triphala powder
Triphala Churna is one such herbal powder, which aids digestion and helps in reducing stomach problems. To make it, mix equal amounts of carom seeds, Triphala and rock salt. Consuming this powder twice a day also reduces the problem of chronic constipation.
