Whenever you go to buy medicines, remember that a QR code is printed on genuine medicines. This special type of unique code is printed. In this, complete information about the medicine and its supply chain is given.
In such a situation, whenever you buy medicine from a medical store, check whether there is this code on your medicine or not. If it is not on any medicine, then this medicine may be fake. One should avoid buying such medicine.
At the same time, you should scan the medicine which has this unique QR code. By doing this, you will get all the information about the medicine and you will be able to know whether this medicine is real or fake. According to the rules, it is mandatory to put a QR code on all medicines priced above Rs 100. If this is not mentioned on any medicine, then do not buy such medicines.
This QR code on medicines is of advanced version and all its information is released from the Central Database Agency. At the same time, this QR code is also changed with every medicine. In such a situation, it is difficult to create a fake QR code or copy it.
