Several passengers on an Air India flight going from Delhi to Sydney were injured on Tuesday when the plane fell victim to massive air turbulence during the flight. Medical assistance was provided to passengers injured during air turbulence upon arrival at Sydney Airport. None of the passengers were admitted to the hospital.

Giving information about the incident on Tuesday, the DGCA, the regulatory body of aviation companies, said that the incident happened during the flight on Tuesday (May 16). Passengers injured in the incident received medical assistance on arrival at Sydney Airport. According to DGCA, no passenger has been admitted to the hospital.

Passengers complain of injuries at Sydney airport
DGCA has informed that Air India's B787-800 aircraft VT-ANY was going from Delhi to Sidi as flight number AI-302. At the same time, the aircraft got stuck in high air turbulence in the air. During this, seven passengers aboard the aircraft received minor injuries. The crew members of the aircraft provided first aid facilities to the injured. The turbulence that the plane fell victim to was so deadly that passengers at Sydney Airport complained of multiple injuries. In Sydney, the airport manager of Air India provided medical facilities to the passengers. Till now no statement has been issued by Air India in this matter.
