Today, when we go to the market and buy something, most people make online payments for it. This method is easy, there is no need to keep cash in it. At the same time, nowadays there are many types of UPI apps through which you can make payment in minutes, but there are many occasions, or at many places, we can make payment only with cash. Therefore, we have to go to the ATM to withdraw cash and for this, you also need a debit card. But do you know that you can also withdraw money from your Aadhaar card? Probably not, so let's know what is its method and what is its limit. You can know about this in the next slides...
If you want to withdraw money from your bank account, then for this you do not need a debit card or go to the ATM. This is because you can withdraw money from the account through your Aadhaar card. The National Payments Corporation of India i.e. NPCI launched the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System i.e. AEPS.
In this, you have to go to any micro ATM. Where you can withdraw money from the bank account by using your Aadhar card and putting in your fingerprint. Just keep one thing in mind your Aadhar card should be linked to your bank account. If we talk about the limit, then the limit of every bank is different, like- in some banks, you can withdraw up to 10 thousand rupees, and in some banks, you can withdraw up to 50 thousand rupees.
This is how you can withdraw money:-
Step 1
First of all, you have to go to the micro ATM and enter your Aadhar number here.
Then you have to give your fingerprint for which you have to put any of your fingers on the fingerprint scanner.
After this many options will open in front of you
Step 2
Now from the options that are open in front of you, you have to choose the option of withdrawing money i.e. money withdraw option.
After this, you have to fill in the amount that you want to withdraw, like- 1000 or 2000, etc.
Then your money is withdrawn and its message also comes to your registered mobile number.
