India's star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been running away from cricket for a long time. He had an accident in December last year. He has since been in rehab and is currently working on fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He keeps sharing many pictures related to his fitness in NCA on social media. Meanwhile, Pant met the Under-16 cricketers at the NCA itself. Its pictures have been shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Sharing the pictures, BCCI wrote in the caption – The boys who were part of the Under-16 High-Performance Camp at NCA Bangalore got an opportunity to chat with Rishabh Pant on cricket, life, hard work, and much more. Kudos to Rishabh Pant for taking out time to chat with these young boys.

It can be seen in the pictures that Pant's right leg is bandaged. Actually, in December last year, Pant's car met with an accident while going home. At that time he was alone in the car. However, he managed to get himself out of the car and later the car caught fire. Pant had a narrow escape. After this, he underwent leg surgery and is currently walking with the help of a stick. It was believed that Pant would be fit before the ODI World Cup to be held in India this year. However, there is little hope for this.

Pant has also been seen cheering his team Delhi Capitals several times in the IPL this year. Pant first came to Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium to support his team against Gujarat. After this, before the match against Bangalore, he reached the Chinnaswamy Stadium to boost the confidence of the team.

Difficult for Pant to play in Asia Cup and World Cup
However, recently there was a report stating that it is difficult for Pant to play in the Asia Cup and the World Cup. According to media reports, Pant, who was injured in a car accident, has been ruled out of these two big tournaments. According to the report, Rishabh Pant's return will take some time and if he recovers fast, he can be back on the field by January next year. Pant was injured in many parts of the body. Now his injury is slowly improving.

It will take more time to get ready for wicketkeeping
It may take a few weeks for Pant to walk without any help. It looks like Pant is recovering fast but it may take seven to eight months before he is fully fit to play cricket on the field. Even if Pant becomes fully fit to play cricket, it may take him a long time to get ready for wicketkeeping. He can return first as a batsman. It is believed that Pant is showing a lot of courage to return to the field. BCCI is also helping them in every possible way.
