With this win, Supergiants have 4 points and the team has reached the top of the points table. Pandya was adjudged player of the match for his brilliant game. He dedicated this award to his wife Pankhuri Sharma. Sunrisers Hyderabad have their second consecutive defeat in the current season. The new fledgling captain Aiden Markram also failed to win the team. Markram failed miserably in his debut captaincy.

Krunal and KL Rahul added 55 runs
Krunal scored 34 runs in 23 balls and shared a 55-run partnership for the third wicket with captain KL Rahul (35). Pandya was dismissed in the 13th over when Lucknow needed only 22 runs to win. The hosts scored 127 runs for five wickets in 16 overs. Rahul hit four fours in his 31-ball innings while Krunal hit four fours and a six in his innings.
