The IPL 2023 season is going to start on March 31, in which some new faces will also be seen in all the teams in the upcoming season one of the names in this is Sikandar Raza, who is included in the Punjab Kings team.

Pakistani-origin player Sikandar Raza has also got a chance to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. Raza, who made his international debut for Zimbabwe, was signed by the Punjab Kings for Rs 50 lakh during the auction for this IPL season.

Sikandar Raza, who is counted among the best all-rounder players of the present time, is the fourth player from Zimbabwe to be signed by a team in the IPL. Earlier Raymond Price, Tatenda Taibu, and Brandon Taylor have been signed by the teams in IPL.

Born in 1986 in Sialkot, Pakistan, Sikandar Raza decided to immigrate to Zimbabwe with his family in the year 2002. Earlier, he also studied in Pakistan's Air Force School and had a dream of joining the Pakistan Army.

Due to being rejected in the test of eyesight, Sikandar again studied software engineering. In the year 2011, Raza got citizenship in Zimbabwe, for which he had to struggle for almost 9 years.

In the year 2007, when Alexander was studying software engineering, during that time he started playing cricket for Glasgow University in Scotland. After this, when his engineering studies were completed, by that time Sikandar decided that he had to pursue a career in cricket.

In the year 2013, Sikandar Raza got a chance to debut in international cricket from the Zimbabwean team. Since then, Raza has been seen performing brilliantly with the ball in all three formats.
