Delhi Capitals registered a big seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore at Arun Jaitley Stadium in an IPL 2023 match. Wicketkeeper-batsman Philip Salt, who was the star performer for the team, feels that his team is now holding good momentum in the tournament.

Delhi Capitals stopped RCB at 181/4 in their 20 overs and chased down the target in 16.4 overs. During this, Salt played a quick inning of 87 runs off 45 balls. Salt said it is good to perform for the team and win the game. We had a tough start to the competition, but now we have won a few games. I think our momentum is building well.

We gave difficult challenges to our bowlers many times during the tournament and they stood up to them. It was good for the batting unit to play freely against one of the strongest sides in the tournament. The player of the match also explained his batting plans against RCB.

Salt said I was very clear about where I was going to hit the ball while batting against the spinners. We also thrashed the best bowlers of RCB. There is no need to change what we are doing at the moment. The performance needs to be replicated.
