The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) is starting on Friday 31 March. This time the tournament is returning to the old style with a new twist. For the first time after four years, the IPL ceremony has been organized.
Film stars will present a colorful IPL Ceremonies program at 6 pm at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The inaugural match of the 16th season of IPL 2023 will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans and four-time champions Chennai Super Kings. The match will start at 7:30 pm.

Superstar will perform
The opening ceremony will be held before the first match of IPL 2023, in which many veteran celebrities will enliven the event with their performances. Superstars Rashmika Madhana and Tamannaah Bhatia will grace the IPL opening ceremony with their performances. Compared to previous years in IPL, the opening ceremony will not be on a grand scale. Some Bollywood actors will perform and there will also be a musical performance.
Matches will be held in a home-and-away format
Explain that a total of 10 teams are participating in the tournament. The teams will play the matches in a home-and-away format. This time the rule of impact player has been implemented in IPL. The BCCI has divided the 10 franchise teams into A and B groups. All teams will play 14-14 matches in the league. The top two teams in the points table will qualify for the playoffs
