The Sunrisers Hyderabad team will take on the Chennai Super Kings on Friday (April 21) in the 29th match of the IPL at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The Hyderabad team has not been able to beat Chennai on its home ground so far. He is eyeing a first win in Chepauk. There have been three matches between the two teams at Chepauk and Chennai has won all three.

The Hyderabad batsmen will also have to deal with a tough challenge from the spinners of the hosts. Chennai has excellent spin bowlers like Ravindra Jadeja, Moin Ali, and Mitchell Santner. The pitch at Chepauk is known to favor spinners but has also helped batsmen in past matches.

Hyderabad spinners raised concern
There is no depth in the spin department of Hyderabad. The team keeps Washington Sundar in the playing XI who has failed to get a wicket even after bowling 11 overs in five matches. Due to the balance in the playing XI, spinners Mayank Markande, Adil Rashid and Akil Hussain are getting fewer chances to play. However, in this match, captain Aiden Markram can give three spinners a chance considering the spin pitch.

Doubt Stokes playing
Chennai all-rounder Ben Stokes missed three matches due to a heel injury and is in doubt for this match as well. He practiced, but a call on his chances of playing XI will be taken after looking at his fitness. It is believed that he will return from the match against the Sunrisers. Spinner Mitchell Santner has recovered from illness and is fit to play.
