The 50th match of IPL 2023 was played between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday. RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bat first. Bangalore scored 181 runs losing 4 wickets in the stipulated overs. In response, Delhi's batter did explosive batting. Especially Phil Salt. The wicket-keeper batsman hit 87 runs in just 45 balls at a strike rate of 193. Riley Russo played a quick inning of 35 runs. Captain David Warner (22) and Mitchell Marsh (26) also helped the team in chasing the target. Delhi Capitals won by losing three wickets with 20 balls remaining.
Captain David Warner, the captain of Delhi Capitals, said after the match that it is amazing. I thought it was a big goal and the ball was skidding too, but the way Phil Salt attacked, he opened the way for us to win. Warner said that our intention was to target Mohammad Siraj. He is bowling well in the league and is also taking quick wickets.
