Indus Water Treaty: These three states of India will get water from Indus river, 113 KM long canal will be built; Pakistan will not get water

India is preparing to trouble Pakistan with water shortage. The central government is planning to build a 113 km long canal to transport the excess water of Jammu and Kashmir to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. This canal will stop the water flowing towards Pakistan, which will benefit India and Pakistan will face water shortage.

Under this, a 113 km long canal will be built to transport surplus water of Jammu and Kashmir to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. With the help of this canal, the water flowing towards Pakistan will be stopped. India will directly benefit from the construction of this new canal. On the other hand, Pakistan will have to crave for every drop of water.

 

India's water will flow into India

According to a report by NDTV, under this scheme, India's share in the western rivers of the Indus River System (Indus, Jhelum and Chenab) will be fully utilized. At the same time, the water of the Ravi, Beas and Sutlej rivers can also be fully utilized. After the completion of this project, all the excess water flows, which were till now going towards Pakistan, will be stopped.

 

Home Minister Shah had given a hint on this plan

 

Let us tell you that Home Minister Amit Shah had hinted about this plan on Saturday. He said that in the coming three years, Indus water will be transported to Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. Shah had clearly said that after this plan, 'Pakistan will have to crave for every drop', while the farmers of India will get abundant irrigation facilities.

 

Sources said that there is a proposal to connect this project to Yamuna in future. If this happens, its length will be more than 200 kilometers. After this, water can also be transported to Gangasagar through Yamuna.
