(How to keep your display safe without a screen protector)

Tech Tips: Nowadays, the craze for smartphones is rapidly increasing. Everyone from children to the elderly has access to phones, which they use as needed. Now, along with purchasing a smartphone, people also purchase a screen protector to keep it safe. But today, we're going to tell you about ways you can protect your phone's display even without a screen protector.

Do not keep hard things in your pocket.

Scratches on phone screens are often caused by objects in pockets. Keys, coins, or other small objects can rub against the screen. Therefore, try to empty your pockets before putting your phone in them. Especially avoid putting your phone in a pocket that doesn't already contain keys or other items.

Many people place their phones on the table with the screen facing up. If there's dust, sand, or other fine dirt on the table, micro-scratches can appear on the screen when you place and pick up the phone. Always place your phone with its back facing up.

Use your phone with caution.

Furthermore, even very small particles of sand can damage the screen. Special care should be taken when using the phone at the beach or in dusty areas. Before cleaning the phone, gently remove any dust from the screen. Rubbing vigorously with an unsterilized cloth can leave marks on the screen.

Be careful while cleaning.

A microfiber cloth is a better option for cleaning the screen than a tissue, paper, or a rough cloth. It removes dust and fingerprints from the screen quite effectively. Also, avoid applying excessive pressure when cleaning the phone's display.

If you keep your phone in a bag or purse, don't leave it open with other items. Chargers, pens, keys, or other objects could rub against the screen. Keep your phone in a separate pocket and avoid direct contact with any hard objects.

Choose the best cover for your phone

Also, choose a smartphone cover with edges that are slightly raised above the screen. These edges significantly reduce the chance of the display hitting the ground if the phone accidentally falls on its screen.

It's impossible to fully protect your phone's display without a screen protector. However, keeping your phone away from keys and coins, protecting it from dust, cleaning it properly, and using a good cover can go a long way in preventing screen scratches.
