She said this in a recent interview and gave the example of other actors of Govinda's age, who are still working. She has expressed hope that Govinda will soon return to the big screen. Also claimed that he is rejecting the offers he is getting on OTT. In a conversation with Zoom, Sunita said, 'I always tell Govinda that you are a legend star. You were the king of the 1990s. Today's children dance to your songs. I keep telling them to keep good company. Why should a legend like you sit at home? Actors of your age like Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty and Jackie Shroff are doing a lot of work. Why don't you work? We miss watching Govinda in films."

According to Sunita, "My children are dying to see him on screen. The people you are hanging out with are not telling us what is right. They just agree with everything. Their intentions are not good. I want to tell those so-called friends that Govinda also helped you financially, why don't you show him the right path."

Sunita told the reason behind Govinda's films being flops and said that he is not willing to accept the changing times and is stuck in the 1990s, when most of his films used to be hits at the box office. There is no actor like Govinda. But he has to do good films and choose good directors. He is failing there.

Sunita stopped managing Govinda's work

Sunita told in this conversation that she has now stopped managing Govinda's work because he doesn't listen to her advice. Sunita says, "I used to manage Govinda's work till a few years ago. I advised him to work on OTT. There were good subjects there. But he refused. I told him that after 4-5 years people will only watch OTT. I myself am a fan. I also watch a film in another language there every day. But he says that he only wants to do a film on the big screen. I don't manage his work anymore. I tolerated you for 38 years.
