EaseMyTrip WCL Season 2: Yuvraj Singh to Lead India Champions, Dhawan Set for Debut

Indian cricket icon Yuvraj Singh has been named the captain of India Champions for the second season of EaseMyTrip WCL Season 2, set to take place in the United Kingdom this July. After leading his team to victory in the inaugural season, Yuvraj will once again take charge, with former India opener Shikhar Dhawan making his debut in the tournament following his retirement from international cricket last year.

Yuvraj Excited to Lead Again

Expressing his enthusiasm about captaining the team, Yuvraj Singh said,
"I am thrilled to once again represent India in EaseMyTrip WCL Season 2. The memories of our triumph in the first season will always remain special."

The first season of the tournament featured several Indian cricket legends, including Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan, and Yusuf Pathan, all of whom showcased their brilliance and passion for the game. The tournament quickly gained global popularity, allowing fans to witness their cricketing heroes in action once again.

Tournament’s Vision and Growth

Harshit Tomar, Founder of EaseMyTrip WCL, emphasized the league’s role in cricket’s future:

Participating Teams & India Champions’ Goals

The India Champions team, owned by Sumant Bahl, Salman Ahmed, and Jaspal Bahra, will return to Edgbaston to compete against teams featuring international stars from Australia, West Indies, England, Pakistan, and South Africa.

Co-owner Sumant Bahl reflected on the team’s success in the previous season, saying,
