According to the European-Mediterranean Geological Center, a strong earthquake has occurred 78 kilometers west of the city of Kabankalan in the Philippines. This earthquake was felt at 8:33 am local time, whose epicenter was in the Sulu Sea. The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 37 kilometers northwest of Sipalay city.
Strong earthquake hit Turkey
Earlier on Thursday (May 15) at around 3.46 pm, a strong earthquake hit Turkey, whose intensity was measured 5.1 on the Richter scale. The tremor of the earthquake was felt 14 kilometers north-east of Kullu. According to Iran's official news agency Mehar, the effect of the earthquake was also felt in Turkey's capital Ankara, but there is no news of any casualties.
