1. Do not sit together and talk about politics

If you feel that politics can ruin your relationship, then whenever you sit together, do not discuss this issue. Often people start talking about politics on dates, during meetings or even while talking on the phone, this can create a rift in your relationship. It is better that whenever you meet, talk only about love and your future.

2. Don’t try to change them

No one can guard the thinking of another person, so if your partner has a different political ideology, then do not force them to change their opinion, otherwise they will feel suffocated and then that person will start moving away from you.

3. Do not taunt in front of anyone else

If you are making fun of your partner's political ideology in front of someone else, or are making fun of him/her, then this will hurt his/her self-respect. Also, he/she will feel that his/her partner does not respect him/her. Then the matter will reach to breakup.

4. Change the topic immediately

It is possible that you are very cautious and do not want to have any kind of political talk with your partner, but if your partner himself starts such a talk, then immediately ignore him and change the topic. This will not give the matter a chance to escalate and the problem will be averted immediately.
