You must have heard about many cases related to witchcraft. But removing a dead body from the grave and cutting off its head in the name of witchcraft is extremely horrifying. Police has arrested two such people. This incident is from Banka district of Bihar. 

Sanhaula police station in-charge Chandan Kumar said that both the youths used to claim to cure diseases by giving water of human head and used to cheat people. Those arrested include Md. Imdad Alam, resident of Porai, Baunsi under Banka district and Md. Azad, resident of Birbalpur, Dhankund. A human head was also found with them.

On January 22, a case of theft of a dead body from Ashrafnagar cemetery in Sanhaula came to light. In this regard, Sakrama resident Md. Badiuzzama had lodged a case for tampering with the grave and dead body of his mother Bibi Noorjavi Khatun. After this, the police became active when a case of cutting the dead body of a newborn into pieces came to light from another grave.

Deployment of police force in the cemetery

According to the villagers, for the past five years, bodies are being taken out of the graves of Ashrafnagar cemetery and their heads are being cut off and stolen. So far, heads of six bodies have been stolen in this manner. 

On the demand of the villagers, police force was deployed in the graveyard. Sanhaula SHO Chandan Kumar said that both the arrested youths were in contact with each other through mobile. One of them was arrested from Saraiya of Gora Dih police station area and the other from Boda village of Amdanda police station area.
