Chittorgarh News: A case of attempted rape of an innocent girl aged 2.5 to 3 years has come to light at Chanderia police station of the district headquarters, on which the police have registered a case and detained the accused.

The girl has been medically examined and investigation has been started. On receiving information about the incident, a large number of people from Hindu organizations and others gathered and started expressing anger and demanding action.

People also allege that instead of taking action, the police advised the informers to bring the accused to the police station. On receiving information about the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Sarita Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural), Shivlal Taylor, Gangrar Police Station Officer DP Dadhich reached the spot.

According to the information, a 3 year old child of a family living on rent in the police station area was taken to a room by their neighbour Salim. On getting the information, his mother and other people reached the spot. Police was informed, but people say that the police did not reach the spot. Later, people took the accused to the police station.

Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Sarita Singh and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shivlal Taylor reached the police station. Based on the report of the victim's mother, the police registered a case. The victim is being medically examined. The angry people alleged that the accused's family members also tried to save him. Action should be taken against them as well. On which Additional Superintendent of Police Sarita Singh clarified to the people that this crime is classified as brutality and full action will be taken in relation to this case.

According to the Indian Penal Code, the case has been registered under maximum sections. The accused will not be spared under any circumstances. Concrete action will be taken on the basis of the report of the family. In this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shivlal Taylor has said that a case has been registered for attempting to commit immoral acts with a minor girl and the accused has been taken into custody. Investigation is being done in the case.
