Ayurvedacharya said, "Consuming Belpatra increases immunity. It can also prevent many types of infections. Belpatra can be beneficial for those who are suffering from digestive problems like Vata, indigestion, burning sensation in stomach, raw burp. Fiber is found in it, which is beneficial for the stomach. Chewing these leaves on an empty stomach in the morning relieves stomach problems."

 

Ayurvedacharya said, "Diabetes may be incurable, but by controlling it, we can get relief from the problems caused by it. Belpatra controls the sugar level in the blood. In such a situation, regular consumption of Belpatra can be beneficial for the patients."

He said, "Bael is rich in vitamins, which strengthens the immune system and keeps the digestive system cool in summers and drinking it also provides coolness. It also removes heat from the body. If there is fever and it is not coming down, then one should consume the juice of Bael leaves, it provides relief. In case of headache, chewing and grinding the leaves and applying a paste on the head provides relief."
