Cheap Fuel: An E-85 fuel station was recently inaugurated in Delhi. Petrol will be available at a lower price than regular petrol, but so far, no buyers have arrived. Let's find out why.
Even after getting cheap petrol, buyers are not being found
Cheap Fuel News: To provide some relief to people from rising petrol prices in the country, the government has developed a cheaper alternative. This cheaper alternative is E-85 fuel. Its first station has been opened in Delhi. Sales have already begun. This fuel is about 20 rupees per liter cheaper than regular petrol, but surprisingly, no one has come forward to buy it yet.
What is E-85 fuel?
E-85 is a fuel that contains a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent petrol. The government has long been promoting ethanol-based fuels to reduce dependence on crude oil imports and control pollution.
Despite its low price, E-85 is not selling well
. However, despite its low price, customers are not enthusiastic about it. The main reason for this is that E-85 cannot be used in vehicles powered by regular petrol. It requires vehicles with special flex-fuel engines, which are currently available in limited numbers in the Indian market.
Lack of information
Furthermore, most vehicle owners lack sufficient knowledge about E-85 fuel. Many are unsure about what this fuel is and which vehicles it can be used in. This is why, despite E-85 being available at petrol pumps, demand has remained low.
