In India, the number of cancer patients has increased rapidly in the last few years. Let us tell you which state is most at risk.

Cancer cases have increased rapidly in the last few years all over the world; India is also in its grip. From women to men, everyone is easily becoming a victim. At the same time, a study has been released by the National Cancer Registry Program regarding this, whose figures are quite surprising. According to this study, about 11 percent of the people of the country can get cancer. The most worrying thing in this is about the North-East. Cancer cases can be seen the most in Mizoram here. In Mizoram alone, the number of men affected by cancer is 21.1 percent, while this figure is around 18.9 percent in women. Let us tell you what has been revealed in the research?
This place has the highest and this place has the lowest risk
In this entire research study, the data of the last five years has been examined through 43 population based cancer registries. It includes data of 7,08,223 cancer patients and 2,06,457 cancer deaths. If we talk about the most cancer affected area, then it is Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Here the probability of people getting affected by cancer is about 256 in 1 lakh men. Whereas, in women this figure is around 217 in 1 lakh.
If we talk about the area with the lowest risk of cancer, then Maharashtra is included in it. Here Osmanabad and Beed have the lowest risk of cancer. In this way, if understood in simple words, 6 districts of North East are on top and after that Kashmir Valley and Kerala have the highest rates. If we talk about metros like Hyderabad, then the situation of cancer here is such that there were 154 cancer patients among every one lakh women.
What is the condition of Delhi?
If we talk about the country's capital Delhi, the situation of cancer here is also quite worrisome. Here, out of every one lakh population of men, 147 people are likely to be affected by it, the average of which is 146.7. If we talk about the situation of cancer among women in Delhi, it has not been mentioned in the report. The situation in Delhi is also worrisome because the situation of cancer here is higher than the national average.
