"Bhaiya sorry, please let me go..." The bike rider kept apologizing but the youth kept beating him, video of hooliganism in the middle of the road goes viral

A fun ride for a group of eleven bikers in Gurugram turned into a nightmare when they were allegedly assaulted by drunk men. Police have registered a case against four people in an SUV for stopping and beating up a group of bikers near Dwarka Expressway. 

According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday when Hardik Sharma was travelling towards Pachgaon on his luxury bike with his friends. Sharma said in his complaint to the police, "We were moving slowly towards Manesar toll when a black Scorpio came at a high speed and tried to harass or unbalance us. We stopped at the curb below the Dwarka Expressway to let them go but they stopped their SUV in front of us. They told us that there were four people in the car and they were all drunk".

In a video going viral on social media, the bike rider is seen apologising to them saying, "Bhaiya I have not done anything", but the miscreants kept beating him and also broke his bike worth Rs 11 lakh. Hardik Sharma said- "They hit me with an iron bat. I was saved because of my helmet, they also said that if I made a video of them, they would shoot me."

"When they saw that a lot of people had gathered, all four of them fled. Before leaving, they threatened me with dire consequences," Sharma said. Sharma suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital, the police said. Sharma also explained how he tracked down the accused on Instagram using an artificial intelligence (AI) tool. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras and a case has been registered based on his complaint. The police have identified the accused through CCTV footage and efforts are on to arrest them, the police spokesperson said.
