Such history is being created on the holy land of Ramnagari, whose aura will be felt by the coming generations as well. The construction of a grand temple on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is also becoming an unmatched example of architecture and scientific thinking. The glory of Ram Darbar to be established on the first floor of Ram Mandir is not only going to be incomparable from the religious point of view, but also from the architectural point of view. The marble stone from which Ram Darbar is constructed is not only unique in strength, but the shine and brilliance in it will not fade for centuries.
Famous sculptor Satya Narayan Pandey, who carved Ram Darbar, says that a large consignment of stones is purchased for the construction of the idol. The marble stone selected for the construction of Ram Darbar is about 40 years old. New marble stones are not available as good. He claims that the idol of Ram Darbar will remain safe for a thousand years. The specialty of this stone is that the more it is washed, bathed, the more its shine will increase.
Sculptor Satya Narayan said that it took six months to select the stones. Champat Rai, the general secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust, had asked to select the best stone. After this stone was selected, a team of scientists from IIT Hyderabad conducted a thorough scientific investigation of it. The help of scientists was also taken in this. Special attention was paid to its ability to withstand the effects of weather, time and environment. Aspects like strength, moisture absorption rate, abrasion capacity and temperature tolerance were tested. After investigation in various laboratories, experts gave the green signal for construction. After which the construction got final approval from the trust.
The statue will be seven feet high including the throne
Sculptor Satyanarayan Pandey said that the total height of the Ram Darbar statue including the throne will be seven feet. The throne is about three and a half feet high, while the idol of Sita Ram is four and a half feet high. After installing the statue on the throne, the height has reduced by one to one and a half feet. In this way, the total height will be about seven feet. The statues of Hanuman and Bharat are in a sitting posture, whose height is two and a half feet. The statues of Laxman and Shatrughan are in a standing posture, their height is three feet each.
