Fresh off the monster success of ‘Pushpa 2’, Allu Arjun is now setting his sights even higher—and this time, he’s joining forces with blockbuster director Atlee. On the occasion of his birthday, a grand announcement video revealed their upcoming mega-project, tentatively titled AA22 x A6. And if reports are to be believed, this isn't just a big film—it's the second most expensive Indian movie ever made.
The Numbers Will Blow Your Mind
According to a report from Pinkvilla, the budget for this high-octane, superhero-themed film is a jaw-dropping ₹800 crore. Here's how the funds are being split:
- ₹200 crore on production
- ₹250 crore on cutting-edge VFX
- Star salaries and profit-sharing making up a significant chunk of the rest
This places the film second only to SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's SSMB29, which is reportedly being made on a ₹1000+ crore budget.
Allu Arjun & Atlee: A Mega Combo
After delivering a ₹1800 crore storm with Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is reportedly charging ₹175 crore for this film—plus a 15% profit share. Director Atlee, still riding high on the success of Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, is said to be getting a ₹100 crore paycheck.
The makers are collaborating with some of Hollywood’s top VFX houses—including Ironhead Studios, Lola VFX, and Spectral Motion—the same teams behind Spider-Man, Avengers, and Captain America.
Aiming for Global Domination
From the superhero hints in the announcement video to meetings with major LA-based effects companies, it’s clear: this isn’t just a film—it’s a global cinematic statement. Shooting is scheduled to begin in August 2025, and fans are already buzzing with excitement.
