The San Francisco Unicorns were set a target of only 144 runs. Luan Dre Pretorius and Finn Allen opened the innings, but Allen was dismissed for just 20 runs. The Unicorns had a poor start, and Pretorius was at one point on 58 off 37 balls. He reached his fifty in 29 balls.
He smashed 44 runs off the last 15 balls of his innings. Pretorius smashed 10 fours and five sixes in this explosive innings, playing at a blistering strike rate of 196.15.
Chasing a target of 144, the San Francisco Unicorns were at one stage just 90 runs down in 12 overs. But as soon as Pretorius switched gears, his team wrapped up the match within the next 22 balls.

Luan Dre Pretorius' century has created history. He has become the youngest batsman to score a century in Major League Cricket history. He achieved this feat at just 20 years old. Before Pretorius, the record for the youngest century in MLC was held by Mitchell Owen, who scored 155 runs against MI New York earlier this season.
