On the night of June 4, around 2:30 am, a woman was sleeping with her husband and her two and a half year old daughter on the footpath near Alambagh metro station. Then a young man named Deepak Verma came stealthily in the dark and picked up the girl and took her away. According to the police report, he took the girl to the other side of the lift and crossed all limits of brutality with her. When the innocent girl fainted, he thought she was dead and threw her in the nearby bushes.
