Lucknow News: 11 women from Thailand were found living on rent without verification in six flats of an apartment named Shakti Heights in Malhaur, Chinhat. Now a notice has been issued to them.

Lucknow: A big news is coming from the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. 11 women from Thailand were living illegally in a residential flat in Chinhat area here. These women were working without a valid visa. One day the police took a big action and arrested them. Now, on the basis of the police report, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) has taken a big decision. All these women have been given a notice to leave India.
This is the case:
On March 13, 11 women from Thailand were found living on rent without verification in six flats of an apartment named Shakti Heights in Malhaur, Chinhat. The police conducted a raid after receiving a complaint of suspicious activities. The police registered a case in Chinhat police station against the apartment owner Shakti Singh, Archit who had given the women on rent and unknown people.
Could not answer questions
A police officer had said that on investigation, no valid visa was found with these women. Also, none of the women could tell the real reason for their stay. One woman told during interrogation that her lover Archit had got the flat on rent, but she became silent on the question of work. The other women also gave evasive answers. One woman had a rent agreement, while the others did not.
Apartment owner could not provide proof
Apartment owner Shakti Singh was contacted by the police and directed to provide documents and information about the foreign residents. However, he failed to submit the rental agreement, complete Form C (required under Foreigners Registration Rule 14) or provide details about the purpose of the women's stay.
Passport also found to be blacklisted.
During police investigation, it was found that the passports of these Thai women were blacklisted. They were working here on business visa. A case was registered against apartment owner Shakti Singh and some unknown persons for keeping the women illegally. Now, taking a big action, the process of sending the women to Thailand has started.
