Right Age To Plan Baby: With changing times, pregnancy has gradually reached a lower position in the priority category of women. But according to medical science, it is beneficial to plan a child at the right age.

Recently, in a popular podcast, gynecologist Dr. Nandita Palshetkar shared her views on the problems of conceiving and pregnancy as well as the social pressures to become a mother. She also discussed the ideal age to get pregnant. According to her, the best time for women to conceive is around 28 years, but in today's times, the time between 30 and 35 years is also considered practical.
Dr. Nandita said that age is very important for women. The number of eggs starts decreasing around the age of 28, and science also shows this. However, it is possible to conceive even after 35 years, but the process may be more difficult.
What is the right age to conceive?
Many scientific studies show that the best time for a woman to get pregnant is when she is physically, mentally and financially ready for motherhood. According to a study conducted in 2002, the ideal age for giving birth to the first child was considered to be 30.5 years.
In addition, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the average age for the birth of the first child is around 27 years. At the same time, a 2016 study showed that the birth rate among women in their 30s has increased, while it is decreasing in those in their 20s.
Is it okay to get pregnant before 28?
Scientific studies show that getting pregnant in the late 20s and early 30s can be more physically beneficial. According to a 2008 study conducted by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, getting pregnant at this age reduces the risk of pregnancy complications. Dr. Nandita Palshetkar said that nowadays women do not get married before 30 years of age, so having the first child between the ages of 30 and 35 can be a good and practical limit.
Chances of having a baby at 40 years or older
Some studies also suggest that late pregnancy may be beneficial in some cases. A 2012 study found that women who gave birth to their last child at age 40 or above had a lower risk of uterine cancer.
