The southwest monsoon continues to bring widespread rainfall across India, with many states experiencing moderate to heavy showers. While the rain has provided relief from high temperatures in several regions, it has also led to waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and localized flooding in some cities.
According to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall are likely across multiple states. Residents in affected areas have been advised to stay updated with local weather advisories and exercise caution during adverse weather conditions.

According to the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, monsoon conditions are expected to remain favourable over Rajasthan during the next several days.
The department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of southeastern Rajasthan, particularly in the Udaipur and Kota divisions, through July 9.
