Rajouri Deaths: After the death of 17 people including 13 children of 3 families in a village of Rajouri, the area has been completely sealed today and divided into cantonment zones. Along with this, strict vigil has been put on the food and movement of people. 

Rajouri News: Due to the recent mysterious deaths, the Rajouri district administration has declared the Badhal area as a containment zone and banned all types of gatherings in the area. So far 17 people have died in this mysterious incident, who belong to three families. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is deployed on the spot to investigate the incident. According to the order issued by the District Magistrate Rajouri, designated officers have been assigned the responsibility to monitor and ensure distribution of food to the affected families in Badhal.  

 

The order states that the families in which the deaths have occurred will be declared as Containment Zone 1. The houses of these families will be sealed and no person, even family members, will be allowed to enter without permission. Apart from this, the persons who have been found in contact with the affected families will be declared as Containment Zone 2. Such persons will be immediately sent to the Government Medical College (GMC) in Rajouri for health monitoring.

 

 

Also, all the houses of Badhal village have been declared as containment zone 3. Employees will also be deployed to monitor the food and keep a constant watch on its consumption in this area. It has also been clarified in the order that the policemen will monitor the consumption of the changed food items in the containment zone. For this, a logbook will be prepared, in which all kinds of records will be recorded and the signature of the monitoring officer will also be there. 

 

The administration has assigned officials the responsibility to ensure that there is no lapse in monitoring and recording the food provided to the affected families. All public and private gatherings have been strictly prohibited to prevent the spread of the infection. The authorities have sealed a spring in the affected area. The presence of 'some pesticides' has been confirmed in the water taken from the spring (baoli). Due to this, people are scared.
