Rajasthan: New twist in the beautician Anita Chaudhary murder case, accused's wife reveals

Rajasthan: In the chargesheet, it is stated that Ghulamuddin called Anita to his house with the intention of looting and then chopped her body into six pieces with a sharp weapon and buried her body in a pit dug in front of the house.

Rajasthan: 90 days after the murder of famous beautician Anita Chaudhary in Jodhpur, the police has filed a chargesheet. The police has filed a chargesheet under sections 103, 309 and other sections of BNS. According to investigating officer Sunil K Pawar, Ghulamuddin has been considered the main accused in the chargesheet. Along with him, Ghulamuddin's wife Abid has also been made an accused. Apart from this, no other name has been included. Initial investigation by the police revealed that Ghulamuddin had committed the murder with the intention of robbery. He is a habitual criminal and has committed robbery many times before.

It is stated in the chargesheet that Ghulamuddin had called Anita to his house with the intention of looting her. She did not have many ornaments. Anita became unconscious due to the drug overdose. Ghulamuddin cut her body into 6 pieces with a sharp weapon and buried the body by digging a pit in front of his own house, so that the secret does not come out. Ghulamuddin's wife revealed the whole secret to the police.

Accused Ghulamuddin had fled to Mumbai 

After this, Ghulamuddin fled from Jodhpur to Mumbai. Police arrested Ghulamuddin 8 days after the murder. Anita's family also protested for a long time that there should be a fair investigation in this case. The family remained adamant on the demand of a CBI investigation.

The state government assured a CBI inquiry and cremated Anita Chaudhary's body on November 20. The family has filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court for a CBI inquiry. The state government has also recommended a CBI inquiry. Meanwhile, now 90 days after the incident, the police have filed their chargesheet.

Anita's body was found on 30 October 

On 30 October, Anita Chaudhary's body was found in pieces in Gulamuddin's house in Gangana, Jodhpur. Accused Gulamuddin had fled to Maharashtra. He was arrested from Mumbai 8 days later. After the murder came to light, Anita Chaudhary's family sat on a dharna. The dharna ended after 20 days of agreement on three demands. These three demands were - recommendation to get the murder case investigated by the CBI, job for Anita's son and financial assistance of 51 lakhs.
