Rajasthan Budget session 2025: Opposition agreed, now Diya Kumari will be able to present the budget without opposition; but Julie put this condition

Rajasthan Budget session 2025: The ongoing deadlock between the opposition and the government during the budget session in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly has not ended yet. The opposition is constantly demanding answers from the government regarding the phone tapping case, while the government is trying to postpone it for discussion after the budget is presented.

Rajasthan Budget session 2025: To end the ongoing deadlock in the Legislative Assembly, an all-party meeting was called under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, in which a long discussion took place between the opposition and the ruling party, and possible ways to end the deadlock were explored. After the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that the government is ready to answer the issue of phone tapping after the Question Hour on February 20, and the opposition should agree to this proposal. On the other hand, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie has made it clear that the opposition will maintain its stand until the Assembly Speaker gives a clear ruling on this issue.

The government will have to answer on phone tapping

Tikaram Julie said that our intention is to create a positive atmosphere in the House and present the budget smoothly in the interest of the public. But, until the government is not ready to answer on the issue of phone tapping and the Assembly Speaker does not take a clear decision in this regard, our protest will continue.

Solution will not come out only from the statement of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister

The opposition does not seem to be satisfied with this assurance of the government. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie clearly said that the solution will not come out only from the statement of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister. This matter will not be resolved only by the statement of the government, until the Assembly Speaker himself does not give a clear ruling on this, the opposition will continue to protest in the House.

"The government is trying to postpone the phone tapping case"

The opposition accused the government and said that the government is deliberately trying to postpone the phone tapping case and is talking about discussing it later to divert the attention of the public. The Rajasthan government is going to present the budget on February 19, but looking at the opposition's stance, it is feared that if the government does not immediately give any concrete assurance on the issue of phone tapping, then the proceedings of the House may be disrupted.
