What is the whole matter?

According to information available online, Bengaluru resident Shashi Prabha Dwivedi was once an assistant professor of economics. In 2018, she was pursuing her PhD. During this time, she got married and moved to Bengaluru with her husband. The new location, household responsibilities, and the pressure of her PhD began to add to her stress. During this time, she turned to yoga to feel better both mentally and physically.

Facing problems in the beginning

Interestingly, her body was initially quite stiff, and she couldn't even perform simple stretches easily. Instead of enrolling in an institution, she began learning yoga through online videos. Within a few months of consistent practice, she mastered the wall headstand. When she shared a photo of it on social media, the positive feedback she received boosted her confidence.

started working on his own

Gradually, yoga grew from a hobby to a passion. She trained as a yoga teacher and began offering classes. Initially, she had only 25 students, but within a year, that number grew to over 300. With her growing popularity and to pursue her dream, she decided to leave her PhD in 2022 and start her own yoga studio in Bengaluru.

When she learned of her pregnancy last year, she continued practicing yoga as advised by her doctor. Shashi Prabha Dwivedi explained that she was allowed to practice under expert supervision and with utmost caution. Even during her pregnancy, she performed several yoga asanas and remained regularly active.
