About 30 people have been injured in this accident. This accident happened before the start of the final match of football. The firecrackers lit here suddenly exploded, causing chaos in the field. This incident is of the football ground located at Therettmal. It happened here during the final match being played between United FC Nellikuth and KMG Mavoor.

Accident caused by fireworks - Areekode Police

According to Areekode Police, this accident happened during a football match near Areekode in Malappuram district of Kerala. 30 people were injured due to fireworks. Fireworks were burst just before the football match started, which started falling among the spectators sitting in the field. Police also said, all the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. No one is seriously injured.
