Honor Killing Case: Harnavdashaji police arrested the uncle and aunt of the deceased who were absconding in the honor killing case after kidnapping the daughter who was living with her lover after love marriage. Both were absconding since the incident, on whom a reward of ten thousand rupees each was announced.

On July 4, complainant Ravindra son of Amrit Singh Bhil, resident of Shorti in Jawar police station area of ​​Jhalawar district, submitted a report at Harnavdashaji police station and said that he had married Shimla Bai Kachhi daughter of Kajodi Lal of the same village in court a year ago. On July 4, he was standing with Shimla Bai in front of Central Bank in Harnavdashaji. 

Meanwhile, Shimlabai's brother Mangilal and Kaka Kaki and Meghraj son Amarlal of Kachhi caste, residents of Sorati, came and beat up Shimlabai and took her with them. Later, it came to light that she had been murdered. The police received information about the cremation of the body, after which the police reached the spot and seized the half-burnt body. During this time, the matter of honor killing spread like fire in the area.

Here, the police, while investigating the matter, registered a case against the deceased's parents and other family members under various sections including murder and made about one and a half dozen family members accused and arrested Kajodilal son of Gopi Lal Kushwaha, Meghraj son of Amarchand, Mangilal son of Chhotulal, Chandrakala wife of Kajodilal, Chameli wife of Magilal, Lalita Bai wife of Gyarsi Ram, Gyarsi Ram son of Jamuna Lal, Rakesh Kumar son of Kajodi Lal, Biramchand son of Gyarsi Ram and Lalit Kumar son of Bhola Ram and presented them in the court.

After that Parvatibai wife of Amarchand was also arrested on 5th February and sent to jail. While Chhotulal and his wife Dhapubai, who are absconding since the incident, and his wife Dhapubai, who are uncle and aunt of the deceased, were arrested by the police and a team was formed for their arrest by announcing a reward of Rs. 10,000 each. Police said that the accused do not stay at home due to fear of police and it was learnt that they are hiding in the fields around the village. They have been arrested successfully.
