Gujarat news: A horrific incident has come to light in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, where two brothers stabbed their mother's lover to death. The accused allegedly removed the intestines of the deceased and threw them in the air. According to the police, the murder took place over the deceased's affair with the mother. Both the sons were angry at this. The deceased Ratanji Thakor had a relationship with the widowed mother of the two brothers for more than 15 years. The accused believed that this relationship disrespected the memories of their late father and shamed the family. After which both the sons took this step.
Attacked on the head with an iron rod
According to a report published in NDTV English, the incident took place on January 26 in Gandhinagar district of Gujarat, when the victim, a mason by profession, was building a house with his fellow workers. According to the police, the accused Sanjay Thakor (27) and Jayesh Thakor (23) attacked Ratanji with an iron rod in broad daylight. After this, they stabbed him several times in the stomach. During this, the intestines of the victim came out. But the shocking thing is that the two men did not stop here.
The victim, who is a mason by profession, was in a love relationship with the accused's mother for many years. Officials said both the brothers rejected the relationship, saying they were facing embarrassment in the family. According to the victim's son Ajay, who filed an FIR against the accused, he told the police that the two brothers had previously warned his father to stay away from his mother. He said they had also fought with the victim many times.
Panchayat was also held, but no result was achieved
After the dispute, the villagers also held a panchayat on the issue, but no solution was found. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot on a bike. The police traced them through mobile location within a few hours of the crime and arrested them. Officials said that the weapons used in the murder have also been seized. A case of murder and abetment to murder has been registered against the accused.
