Preparations underway for a major protest in PoK
In the ongoing insurgency in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir's Rawalakot for the last 112 days, the Awami Action Committee made a big announcement today (September 28) and appealed to the people of PoK to buy ration for the next two months and keep it at home by October 3.
According to the Awami Action Committee, the next decisive phase of the uprising will be announced in Rawalakot on October 4th, marking the one-year anniversary of the betrayal of the people of PoK. Awami Action Committee leader Sardar Umar Nazir has appealed to people throughout PoK to come out of their homes on October 4th with the PoK flag and a black flag.
Keep two months' ration at home.
At Rawlakot's D Chowk, Umar Nazir appealed to the people to stock up on two months' worth of rations at home and take the uprising to its final stage. He also urged people to prepare for any eventuality for the next two months by October 3rd. He also urged everyone to reach the Eidgah Ground on October 4th.
He urged the people of PoK to prepare before October 4th, as there won't be much time to implement the announcement after October 4th. Sardar Umar Nazir remained tight-lipped about what major and decisive announcements and steps the Awami Action Committee (AAC) will make on October 4th in the ongoing insurgency in PoK since June 7th.
Why did Sardar Aman Khan say this?
Two days ago, while addressing 25,000 people in Mandhol village near the LoC, Awami Action Committee member Sardar Aman Khan had said that in the coming days, demonstrations will be started to remove the Pakistani fence from the LoC and connect it with India's Poonch and Mendhar.
In such a situation, it remains to be seen what official announcement the Awami Action Committee makes on October 4 to take the rebellion to its decisive stage, for which people have already been appealed to collect two months' ration and keep it at home.
