England did only one net session on India tour? Jos Buttler clarified Ravi Shastri's statement; said this

Jos Buttler on Ravi Shastri's claim about England training: The England team, which suffered a crushing defeat in both the T20 and ODI series against India, is currently facing criticism. While commentating after the last match of the ODI series, Ravi Shastri had said that England had only one net session on this entire tour. In such a situation, questions were being raised on the England players whether they were serious about this tour or not. However, now England captain Jos Buttler has responded to Shastri's comment and said that his statement is not completely correct.

While talking to reporters after the end of the third ODI in Ahmedabad, Buttler said that he does not fully agree with Shastri. Along with this, he also said that what Shastri said is not completely correct.

Buttler said, I think it was a very long period for us and we also had to travel a lot. There were some occasions when we could not train, but certainly we have trained a lot throughout the tour. We want to create a good atmosphere in our team, but this should not be taken as laziness or lack of effort. All the boys are eager to perform. They want to do well in their game and improve it.

On this tour, which started on 22 January, England played a series of five T20 International matches. After this, a three-match ODI series was played. England did not have any net session before the last two matches of the ODI series. England players were not seen practicing in the nets before the matches played in both Cuttack and Ahmedabad. This is England's fourth consecutive ODI series defeat after that tournament, which won only three out of nine matches in the 2023 ODI World Cup. This crushing defeat just before the Champions Trophy can lower the confidence of the England players. Now it remains to be seen how the England team is going to make a comeback in the important tournament.
