Diet and Hormonal Imbalance: Many diseases are on the rise due to today's unhealthy lifestyles. Let us explain how everything from tea and biscuits to late-night junk food is making you sick.

Effects of Poor Diet on Gut Health: Due to the changing lifestyle of today, people's health is deteriorating more than before. Problems ranging from cancer to kidney failure have increased rapidly. Now, a study funded by ICMR has also revealed that, according to this study, about 40 percent of Indian women aged 18 to 40 were found to have hidden nutritional deficiencies. These include anemia, vitamin deficiency, and early metabolic risks like insulin resistance. The surprising thing is that according to BMI, these women appear completely fit, hence the problem remains undetected for a long time.

What do researchers say?

Researchers say that if these deficiencies are not addressed promptly, they can have serious consequences for women's health, fertility, and overall well-being. By afternoon, she'd feel ravenous and gorge on fried or processed foods like chips, samosas, and sweets from the school canteen. These foods look easy, but they're low in fiber and nutrients. Why is nutrition important at the age of 20–30?

In today's fast-paced lives, people in their 20s and 30s often neglect their diet. This is precisely the time that lays the foundation for future health, metabolism, and hormonal balance. According to Dr. Sushma, a nutrition expert at DietKalp Nutrition Center in Delhi, the day should begin with a good breakfast within an hour of waking up. The combination of protein and complex carbohydrates stabilizes blood sugar and keeps the mind active. She explains that drinking coffee alone on an empty stomach has become common among young women. This can lead to anxiety, increased heart rate, acidity, and fatigue throughout the day. Replacing processed foods with protein, vegetables, and whole grains for lunch is beneficial for gut health. Light but nutritious evening snacks can help prevent overeating. Dinner should always be lighter than lunch and 2 to 3 hours before bedtime. Light food not only improves digestion but also improves sleep quality.
