  • Pavanamuktasana: Provides relief from gas, constipation and obesity.
  • Surya Namaskar: Tones the entire body and burns calories.

Apart from this, Kapalabhati and Anulom-Vilom Pranayama speed up the metabolism and make the process of fat burning faster.

Keep your diet simple and healthy

Swami Ramdev believes that focus should be on Whole Foods i.e. natural and unprocessed food.

  • Have light and nutritious breakfast in the morning, like porridge, poha, upma.
  • In the afternoon, have pulses, green vegetables, salad and some nuts.
  • Keep dinner light, like soup or salad.

According to Ramdev, the real mantra for weight loss is consistency. Do yoga for 30 to 60 minutes daily, eat a balanced diet and get enough sleep. Apart from this, make it a habit to walk 8-10 thousand steps daily and drink 2 to 3 liters of water a day.
