Naukasana Benefits: Naukasana is an effective yoga asana with many health benefits. Regular practice helps in blood sugar control, which benefits diabetic patients.

Naukasana is Effective for Health: In today's busy life, people often ignore their body and health. Junk food, staying up late, and stressful routines gradually lead to diseases. In such a situation, yoga is a natural solution, which not only balances the body but also relaxes the mind. Naukasana is a yogasana, which keeps the body fit and healthy by practicing it for a few minutes every day. The word Naukasana is made up of two Sanskrit words, in which 'Nauka' means 'boat' and 'asana' means posture. In the practice of this yogasana, your body becomes like the shape of a boat. There are many benefits of this yogasana, from reducing belly fat to strengthening the spine.

Naukasana is an effective yoga asana- Ministry of AYUSH

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Naukasana is an effective yogasana, which helps in making the body strong and balanced. While doing this, the muscles of the stomach, back, and thighs are directly affected, which reduces body fat. Not only this, it also helps in strengthening the spine. This asana not only increases physical strength but also helps in maintaining mental concentration and balance.

The practice of Naukasana helps to activate the digestive system. This yogasana puts pressure on the abdominal muscles, which puts a slight pressure on the digestive organs and they become more active. This helps in proper digestion of food and eliminates problems like gas and constipation. When the digestive process improves, the energy of the body also starts increasing.

Yogasanas help in increasing stability

This yogasana is helpful in increasing stability. While doing this, the whole body has to be balanced in the shape of a boat, which improves the grip and control of the body. This practice also increases our concentration, because the body has to be kept stable in the same position for some time. Practicing it daily not only strengthens the body, but also improves mental stability and confidence.

At the same time, it is a simple way to strengthen the muscles of the lower body. While doing this asana, the thighs, calves and lower abdomen are stretched, which activates the muscles of these parts and gradually strengthens them. This yogasana is especially beneficial for those who are troubled by weakness or fatigue of the legs.

Naukasana is beneficial for diseases

Naukasana not only strengthens the body, but also helps in fighting diseases like diabetes. While doing this asana, the abdominal muscles are stretched and the internal organs become active, especially the pancreas. This improves the flow of insulin, which is helpful in controlling blood sugar. Apart from this, this yogasana improves blood circulation, which gives freshness and energy to the body.

To practice Naukasana, first lie down straight on your back and join both your legs together. Keep the hands straight beside the body. Now take a deep breath, and while exhaling, slowly lift your legs and chest up. Also, pull the hands forward so that they move towards the feet. During this, your eyes should be on the feet, while the hands and feet should appear in a straight line. Feel the stretch in the abdominal muscles and stay in this position for some time. Then slowly come back to the first position.

The Ministry of AYUSH has advised people suffering from any serious heart disease or asthma not to do Naukasana. Also, if you have migraine, severe headache or low blood pressure, then do not practice it, as it can worsen the problem. Naukasana should be avoided during pregnancy, as it puts pressure on the stomach.
