Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, has taken a big decision in the middle of the tournament. He has decided to change his domestic team, for which he has also written a letter to MCA.

Yashasvi Jaiswal: Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, has taken a big decision in the middle of the tournament. He does not want to play for the Mumbai team in the domestic tournament, he has sought a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association in this regard.

According to the Indian Express report, Jaiswal wrote an email to MCA on Tuesday seeking an NOC to change his cricket state team from Mumbai to Goa from the next season.

"He (Yashasvi Jaiswal) has asked us for a no-objection certificate. He has cited personal reasons for going to Goa," the report quoted an MCA source as saying.

People close to Yashasvi Jaiswal also confirmed

In the same report, it is also told that when people close to Yashasvi Jaiswal were asked about this, they also confirmed his going to Goa team and said that he wants to go there.

Last year, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had instructed all players that those who are not playing international cricket will have to play domestic matches. Yashasvi Jaiswal also played for the Mumbai team. He played a match against Jammu and Kashmir, in which he scored 4 and 26 runs respectively in the first and second innings.

Yashasvi will not be the only cricketer who will leave Mumbai team and play for Goa. Before him, Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhesh Lad have also played for Goa team. However, the reason for both of them leaving the team was that they were not getting many opportunities whereas this is not the case with Jaiswal.
