What will happen if you take a car without a PUC to a petrol pump? Will the car be confiscated?

PUC Rules: In Delhi, a vehicle without a valid PUC will not be able to get fuel at a petrol pump. Violating the rules can result in a hefty fine, and repeated violations can even result in vehicle seizure.

The capital Delhi is once again engulfed in dense smog, and air quality is deteriorating. This has led to increased restrictions on drivers. If you drive to a petrol pump without a valid PUC, you could get into trouble.

Starting today, December 18th, the "No PUC, No Fuel" rule has come into effect in Delhi. This means that if you don't have a valid PUC certificate at a petrol, diesel, or CNG pump, employees will flatly refuse you. Documents will be checked at the pump itself, and no discounts will be granted.
